Yiannis Brouzos was born in Piraeus in 1977 .
Studied Sculpture and Artistic Design in Athens (A.S.F.A.) and Urbino. Sculpturing,
Painting, Scenography, Multimedia Art and Εngraving are some of his working fields,
as well as a part of the process developing his art.
The combination of natural and industrial materials in his sculptures are reflecting the
contrariness of human kind.
Mastering to bring the dark into the light and the light into dark to present the inner
human self as one is one of his destination in work. Social and political aspects and
movements are strongly influencing his art.
Visualizing the balance of stability and movement, materialized in the roughness and the
fragility of his sculptures, by uniting soft materials and strong structures to manifest the
eternity in ephemeral creations, makes his art unique and alive.
